Justin Timberlake announced on his twitter yesterday a brand new album, Man of the Woods, coming out on February 2nd, four years after The 20/20 Experience (2013) and over ten years after the still-relevant Futuresex/Lovesounds (2006). He posted a somewhat cryptic minute long teaser video:

He has also release the album cover:
Some fans are ecstatic about the new JT content coming out in less than a month, but others are a bit skeptical about its folksy title and woodsy visuals. Tweeters are responding in every which way.

This album does seem very different from his past music. Justin himself calls it his “most personal ever,” inspired by his “roots.”
Man of the Woods drops just two days before Timberlake’s headlining of the Superbowl Halftime Show on February 4th.
