One of the biggest brands in fashion is back with a new collection this Fall. They have chosen The Weeknd to be the face of the collection. This isn’t The Weeknd’s first collaboration with H&M. Just recently for Spring 2017, the two collaborated together. This new collection is said to feature clothing such as bomber jackets, jersey tees, shirts, and jeans. The Toronto native created a collection composed of 25 different pieces. Of the 25, the bomber jacket is the prized possession.

The Weeknd puts a different spin on fashion in an exclusive with Billboard. He said “for my generation, the bomber jacket is like a replacement for the suit jacket,” “It’s a piece that men wear every day, and it’s something that I would wear for any occasion, whether it’s on the street or going to an awards ceremony. For me, bomber jackets are smart, but they are also street and have a lot of attitude.” Andreas Löwenstam, H&M’s head of menswear design, stated that The Weeknd’s “effortless style” was a natural fit and “his sharp take on streetwear is connected to how we think about menswear”. From defining moments in music to those same moments in fashion, The Weeknd is shaping up to be one hell of a superstar. Congrats to him!
