When you grow up in some of the less fortunate neighborhoods of America, there is certain things you just don’t see yourself making it to and the ages 21 and 30 fall in that category. Just a few weeks ago Meek Mill celebrated his 30th birthday with new music and an invite only party in the Bahamas. Now, you can only imagine Meek never thought he’d live this type of life, but fortunately he does. In the beginning of his new video for his recently released single, “Glow Up”, Meek shares some the harsh realities we face growing up in the urban community. Meek even makes mention of Kalief Browder and his stint in prison. Thankfully, Meek is showing the youth there is a way out and a sweeter side to life if you work hard for it.
