The second day of the Daze Summit music festival, overflowed with talent during the ‘We the West’ stage at ‘Founders Lab’ in Brooklyn. This event was one of many, managed by Scott Morris during the week long ordeal and it was definitely more than worth the anticipation!

Many artists from the West coast came to New York to bless the stage and showed that California love. Not only did the line up include performers from Cali, but also many of New York’s very own!

Some of the artists that were apart of the amazing line up were; Slum the resident, Jayel, Surplus, Danny Frisch, 498 the fam, Swiv, Nate the Ghost Writer, X, Mike West, Saint Luxe, Ren Thomas, Frank Knight, and Ra[K]ooN. Rapper, DayLyt who is a battle rapper known for appearing on Wild ‘N Out with Nick Cannon, was the headliner for the show.

Slum the resident, opened the show with songs from his recently released mixtape entitled Product Of My Environment. The rapper made sure to share his tales of a trap lifestyle.

Singer/Songwriter, Ra[K]ooN of New York, did a selection of songs from his up and coming EP entitled ORNGE. The singer performed a few new unreleased songs and did a shorter version of his EP’s listening show that happened in late January.

Singer, Saint Luxe who describes himself as an R&B rockstar, brought out a live band and definitely wowed the crowd with his vocals while still rocking out on his guitar.

498 the fam also came out representing the West coast hard, making sure that everyone knew where they were from and to not forget it.

The show ended with DayLyt gracing the stage as everyone crowded around him and didn’t take their eyes off of him.

Before everyone left the building 498 the Fam made sure to get to the mic to give them the message “Come to Cali!”
